This place is fantastic! We had dinner in June 2025 while enjoying a little staycation at the Hibiscus Bed and Breakfast. We live in Niceville, about 15 minutes away, and I service this area in my real estate business. I have driven by the restaurant several times and was glad to finally have an excuse to stop in. The restaurant was delightful. Our server, Tom, told us about the establishment and described a delicious special that we decided to order. It was wonderful! His recommendation was spot on. My husband had the special, while I enjoyed the chicken fettuccine. We finished the night with tiramisu and a chocolate crème brûlée, which Tom suggested topping with caramel gelato. It was delicious! This place had a welcoming environment and knowledgeable staff. Keep Tom around, he was a delight.

Boragos in Santa Rosa Beach has great food, a fun atmosphere, and phenomenal customer service. Their bread and oil are amazing! Just don’t expect Olive Garden prices.
The only downside was being told only outdoor seating was available, yet the place was empty when we arrived, with seating inside the whole time we sat there and ate…The front desk staff seemed more interested in their phones, but our waiter was fantastic. I’d 100% go back!

Absolutely wonderful. We are thrilled to finally discover this hidden gem. Quiet elegant setting, with an outdoor screened porch or lovely indoor dining including bar seating. Reservations required and atmosphere best suited for adults. Nice menu selection of Italian inspired dishes and a couple seafood and beef/pork dishes. We really enjoyed the Lamb meatball appetizer on polenta and our main entrees were perfect. Nice wine and cocktail offerings. Service was outstanding, attentive but not rushed. Focus was on guest experience. Cash payments preferred with an upcharge of 4% of bill for credit cards payments. Prices are reflective of the area and quality of the dishes. Parking is slightly problematic with limited spaces in front and roadside parking which requires crossing busy and dark 30A. We hope to return often if reservations are available.

Best Italian food I've had in a long while. The tomato/marinara sauce was outstanding. The fried oysters were very nice as well. The acoustics in this restaurant are poor, so it did get a little loud, but the food was worth it. This was our best meal in Seaside thus far for our trip. Will definitely be back!

It was my wife's birthday. We've been there before she ordered a dish and it wasn't what she ordered and when I went up and asked how come my wife got this dish and it didn't have the ingredients in it that said on the menu and he replied, we didn't have it anyway I got a pasta dish with Angel hair pasta with a red sauce and shrimp. The shrimp were delicious. The sauce was scorched. We left very disappointed someone came to the table and gave excuses. That's not what we were looking for. We were looking for what we wanted to eat for dinner. I also noticed that the chef was using his hands to touch all the food he pick you could see him picking the pasta up with his hands you could see him picking the shrimp up. You could see him picking the chicken up, but he never washed his hands never one time to me that's cross-contamination. I couldn't believe what I was seeing . when I asked them about why they were picking all the food up with their bare hands and not washing their hands they said well that's the way they always do it again. I left very disappointed. The last time we ate here, the food was much better. I couldn't believe what I was watching from the dining room about how the chef was handling everything with his bare hands and not washing his hands not even one time.

Honestly, pretty upsetting. They have messed up our reservation twice now, leaving us to scramble. The first time they put us down for 4 when there was only 2. The second time they put us down for 8, when there was 6, at a completely different time than they had originally told us. My mom could not get them on the phone, and had to go in person to make a reservation. Their system was completely on paper which is charming, but definitely leaves room for error. The young girl at the front was dismissive, and unhelpful. I understand it’s been there a while and whatever, and if it was once it would be fine. Twice is pretty frustrating. Don’t think we’ll go for lucky number 3.

Borago has become one of our favorite restaurants in 30A! The service has been great each time and the food is absolutely incredible! We love the veal meatball appetizer as well as the calamari. Every pasta dish we have tried has been delicious, my personal favorite is the Chicken Linguine and my husband’s favorite is the Angel Hair with Pan Seared Shrimp. And of course the Dark Chocolate Crème Brûlée for dessert as well as the seasonal Berry Crisp! If you are looking for a truly delicious meal then this is the place to go! Be sure to make reservations.

Loved the food and our server Jess was so sweet and friendly. We had the arrancini which was really good. Their marinara is fabulous (like my moms!) I had the Angel hair shrimp with prosciutto and it was SO delicious. It was creamy and the flavor was mouthwatering. My husband had the tortellini bolognese and really enjoyed it. The wine selection was also quite good. We did not like the tiramisu though. Tasted too much like alcohol. But we will definitely eat here again.
